I’m blogging live from the Florida Trail Riders banquet at the Hilton in Walt Disney World resort. It’s 6:20 and dinner was scheduled at 5:30 but there were more guests than anticipated and our table already gobbled down a basket of dinner rolls and the spinach salad with orange tomatoes. It’s been a great time so far and it’s not over yet. I’m in line to publish the next issue of FTR magazine, and it couldn’t have happened any sooner. Today, at the general membership meeting, a major proposal was shot down because of three votes, and now the membership has to wait another year to vote again. Some are stuck at the dinner table, licking the wounds. My dinner just arrived. Looks like chicken.
